As we transition into Fall, we are reminded to pause and celebrate what has been achieved. We’ve spent the last season blossoming, harvesting, and celebrating the abundance of creation, our own ecstatic expression, big flavors, and our joyous community. We’ve felt the sunlight in the form of heat and formed connections with playful yet intelligent truth. Now is the time to reflect on that growth and make time and space to align our intentions and actions with the energy of the Autumnal Equinox.
Join Alisha Nissenfeld MSW, E-RYT 200, on a journey of self expression and personal exploration through Freedom to Fall. This practice involves a deep reverence for opposites, unity, and completion and will leave you feeling empowered to move into fall with joy and freedom.
In this workshop, you’ll be asked to observe the relationship between the outer expression of your poses and your own inner journey. With well balanced solar and lunar sequences, you’ll be guided through a conscious and logical understanding of your experience and asked to dive deeper still, to discover what is perhaps unconscious maybe unknown to you. You will be working with both active and passive expressions of poses, and will be guided through pranayama, asana, and meditation practices that will ignite your inner fire, while stabilizing and grounding for a sense of balance and completion. By moving beyond mental, physical, and emotional blockages, you will be given the opportunity to greet Fall with a clear mind, open heart, and grounded and relaxed body.
